One of my few post on windows (family computer…)… I tried to remove solid background color on desktop icon text to get transparency.
At first I followed this post: Desktop-icons-text-background-transparent
This partly did the trick. My full solution is below:
- right-click on desktop / properties / desktop / customize desktop / web
- uncheck all web-pages
- check “lock desktop icons” or sthg like this (it was unchecked)
- click on OK (nothing changed)
- go back to this set-up screen and uncheck “lock desktop icons”
- click on OK
It worked!
Now there’s full transparency on icon titles.
